Actually, Edward was considered a rather amiable gent when he wasn't trying to steal someone else's country.

I knew that was Edward as soon as I saw the title. The only other possibility from that period would have been Henry III, his father (whom I consider a worse tyrant), but Henry was rather weak.

Edward was the brilliant strategist, and general. Your rendering of his face beautifully depicts the intensity and intelligence of "The Hammer of the Scottish Nation."
